Common Questions
Why does my door stick in the summer but not the winter?
Wood doors and jambs expand with humidity — a door that fits fine in winter can swell and stick in summer. I'll check the door frame and see if it requires a planing adjustment or a fix to the door jamb.
Can you fix a door without replacing the whole frame?
Usually, yes — many sticking, dragging, or latch issues come down to adjusting hinges or the jamb itself.
Do you install pre-hung or slab doors?
Both. Pre-hung doors come with the frame attached while slab doors fit into an existing frame. I'll recommend whichever fits your situation.
💡 Tip: Single door replacements or repairs are commonly overlooked and can often be fixed somewhat quickly. There is no reason to live with doors that won't close or stay closed.
